		20 forests with total area of 34,299㎡ (as of April 1, 2022) are located in Yamaguchi area. You will get a sensational view of village forests and find temples, tea gardens and Japanese traditional houses. To get here in Yamaguchi area, change the train to Seibu Railway Sayama line at Nishi-Tokorozawa station and get off at Shimo-Yamaguchi or Seibukyujyo-mae station. Details of forests located in Yamaguchi area are as indicated below. First Totoro’s forest located in Yamaguchi area acquired in 1990 by Totoro Funds steering committee. Auercus serrata and Japanese cedar grow mainly, and oak trees, prunus sargentii, storax and pinus densiflora also grows around the forest No. 1.
